Arisia was interesting, bizzare, a little odd, esp. when I fell down in the dealer's room Fri. night. (nothing damaged, s'far as I know, other than my pride and a few bruises.)
Acquired far too many books...okay, not too many, not even quite enough, IMHO. ;-) Only 20 or so, most of which were only a dollar. I have a partially completed collection of the Amelia Peabody mysteries. (although I've come up blank as to the author. *gugh*) Bought "Hal's Worlds", naturally. Bought a few full-priced books, but not many. Got a 'couple other used books at non-dirt-cheap prices.(I don't mind, at least I could come up with the money to feed myself at least some of the time.) Was gifted a copy of the "Anime Encyclopedia"! That's going to be a most interesting thing to read, seeing as I know somewhat about anime, and learning more will be rather cool. :-)
Heading to the Y in Malden tomorrow, hope to find out how much it costs to be a member, and to check out the new building. I need to take up Tai Chi or something similarly gentle. Some more swimming will commence once I have a bathing suit that fits me. *wry grin* (damn! Those stupid things are expensive!)
Still vainly hoping to go to Lunacon, but not sure about finances for it, and I won't know for a few days yet, at least.
Pondering what else to say...but can't think of anything off of the top of my head. ;-)
